Marketer and distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients in Asia-Pacific, Connell Bros. Co. has acquired the assets of Axxone International, a chemical manufacturing and distribution company based in Singapore.
CBC's subsidiary, Core Ingredients, have acquired Axxone's assets and will be operating the business. With this acquisition, Axxone will have access to CBC's regional network across 18 countries in APAC and will be able to provide more value-added coatings products and services to its customers.
With this new addition, CBC portfolio plans to broaden offerings and capabilities of blended formulations for specific applications. The new regional technical center being set up in Singapore aims to enhance services offered by CBC's existing regional technical center in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Core Ingredients is said to be managing CBC's formulated product growth across Asia Pacific.
