Carlos graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor science in Business Administration. He started his career in the plastic recycling near 20 years ago as a Latin American Sales Manager for a local company. Currently he is Houston Operation Manager for Custom Polymers, Inc. He has over 15 years of experience in the PET market, not only in Mexico and Latin America, but in Europe and Asia as well. He has attended different plastic training and seminars. He has been a speaker at many plastic exhibits and conferences through Latin America. With his experience in the international market, he has contributed to his company growth. Also, he has been able to assist and support many PET recyclers in the region getting better quality of the final product.

Mr. Jaime Hernández Rivillas

Mr Hernandez is Industrial Engineer with a degree in Marketing and Sales. He has been involved with the PET industry for 17 years. He worked fpr 15 years with Husky, PET injection molding equipment provider, as Sales Regional Manager.

In this position, Mr Hernandez was responsible for the development of the regional PET market working with the main PET preforms and bottles manufacturers. Since 2016, Mr Hernandez joined SMI Colombia, one of the biggest producers of PET preforms and bottles in Latin America. Mr Hernandez is Country Manager in SMI Colombia and he is leading the strategy of market development of SMI in the country.

Mr. Donnie Wickham

Mr. Donnie Wickham has extensive experience in performing feasibility studies for several major global manufacturers of both petrochemical and biochemical derivatives. He is versed in due diligence evaluations of prospective merger and acquisition targets, as well as financial modeling, cost of production modeling, and market dynamics analysis geared towards furthering producer competitiveness. In recent years, Mr. Wickham has also assumed an advisory role as independent engineer for multiple major chemical projects looking to obtain financial backing from potential investors. Donnie received a BSc in Chemistry from Morehouse College and a BE in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York.

Currently he lives in Mexico City and works for DAK Americas Mexico as technical service supervisor where he has been in this position for 4 years. Previously, he worked as service commercial operations representative for the logistic department in the same company for 2 years.

 

Before joining DAK Americas Mexico, he worked in a company dedicated to produce PVC and PET sheet where he was in the R&D department for 2 years.

Mr. Parra is currently the general manager of APROPET, the PET bottle-to-bottle recycling plant of the San Miguel Industrias group in Bogotá, Colombia. He joined San Miguel Industrias three years ago as Financial and Administrative Manager of the inyection and blowing plant in Tocancipá. Prior to joining San Miguel Industrias, Mr. Parra held several positions in corporate finance in Valrex and Johnson & Johnson.
