Mr. Kahenge Haulofu

Mr. Kahenge Simson Haulofu holds a B.Sc. Degree (Honours) in Civil Engineering from the Tampere University of Technology, Finland.  He currently serves as the Managing Director of the Namibia Power Corporation (NamPower) Pty Limited, the power utility of Namibia whose core business is the generation, transmission and trading of energy.  He is registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia.


Haulofu joined NamPower in 1998 as Construction Manager: Projects and Civil Assets. In 2003 he was promoted to General Manager: Engineering Services.   In 2004,  Haulofu became Divisional Manager: Power Generation until October 2015, he was then appointed as NamPower’s Acting Managing Director, and in 2016 he was officially appointed as NamPower’s Managing Director.
