Mr. Michael Panas

Michael is an NGL/LPG supply/demand, commercial and shipping specialist. Michael has led several global NGL/LPG projects, specialising on the commercial aspects, supply/demand issues, shipping analysis and supply/demand, price & freight forecasting. Michael started his career in the gas market in 2005 with Greek shipping companies before he joins Poten & Partners between 2007 and 2017 as a senior LPG consultant and subsequently manager of the NGL/LPG consulting practice. Currently he is a partner at the commercial advisory and consulting company, NGLStrategy. During his time as an NGL/LPG advisor, Michael has consulted on LPG economics, investment valuation, strategic/business analysis, infrastructure, due diligence and marketing projects including developing business plans and strategies for a wide range of companies. Michael, a Greek native, has a BSc in Shipping, Trade and Transport economics from the University of the Aegean in Greece and an MSc in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment from the University of York. He is also a frequent speaker at various international NGL conferences and he is based in Houston.

Mr. Ong Han Wee

Ong Han Wee is currently a Consultant at FGE, leading its Singapore LPG team.  In this role, he is responsible for analysis and forecasting of LPG markets including supply, demand, trade, infrastructure developments, new projects, and benchmark price relationships. 

 

 

Han Wee focuses primarily on East of Suez.  Prior to joining FGE, he worked for OPIS in Singapore before its acquisition by IHS.  OPIS is a benchmark in multiple areas including propane and other NGLs in the US.

 

During Han Wee’s tenure at OPIS, he served as an Asia Markets Editor for assessing daily LPG prices in Asia markets and authoring daily LPG market commentaries.

Ms. Emma Lamb

Emma joined the Poten LPG and NGL consulting team in 2014. Emma has a PhD in chemistry from the University of Bath and a MChem from the University of St Andrews. She has experience working in both the chemical industry as well as supply and demand of other commodities including Castor Oil. Her expertise is around the supply/demand modelling of the global LPG market. She has led a number of global LPG projects focused on supply/demand issues and trade flows. Utilising her chemical expertise, Emma contributes to the understanding of downstream LPG outlets with a particular focus on petrochemical applications. She regularly contributes to LPG in World Markets, Poten’s monthly LPG publication as well as providing input into Poten’s online LPG database. More recently Emma has been working on market strategies for key players within the market.

Mr. Tony Liang

Upon graduation, Tony joined Wanhua Chemical Group as Finance Controller and then promoted to Finance Manager of Wanhua Netherlands B.V. After 3.5 years working in Amsterdam, he was transferred to Budapest as the Marketing Manager of BorsodChem for 6 months.

Tony returned to China in the beginning of 2013 and then joined Purchasing Department as manager for the raw materials procurement, currently he is the Assistant General Manager of Wanhua Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. and also perform the role as Managing Director of Wanhua Chemical (Singapore) Pte.Ltd.

Mr. Kevin Kim

Kevin Kim is the Head of Global Planning Team at SK Gas Co. He leads the development of growth strategy for the companys LPG trading business.  His responsibilities also include leading the companys partnership initiatives for product and geographic expansion. Before holding the current position from 2016, he headed the corporate planning and risk management functions of SK Gass trading company in Singapore, helping the company to upgrade its risk management platform as it doubled its LPG trading volume to 10 million tons per year. Throughout his career as the strategy and planning specialist in SK, he led various cross cultural corporate development projects in the US, China, Singapore, Vietnam and Korea. He obtained an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Justin Kleiderer

Mr. Kleiderer is currently the Director, NGL Marketing & Supply for Enterprise Products Operating, LLC. He has responsibility for all domestic and international NGL Marketing activities. Mr. Kleiderer joined Enterprise in 2011 and has spent the past 6 years in a variety of roles within the NGL Marketing organization, most recently responsible for domestic supply and marketing. Mr. James T. Webster

James T. (Jim) Webster is currently Managing Member of NGL Midstream Consulting, LLC and also Executive Advisor for NGL Strategy, LLC where he is a minority member.  

He retired in March 2017 after 37 years with Phillips66 and  nearly 40 years of experience in all areas of the hydrocarbon value chain including general management, business and marketing development, operations management, trading, field sales and corporate planning.  Particular focus on Midstream and NGL Management including large capital program business development and implementation.  Extensive international experience in the Middle East, NWE and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Emmanuel Mangeni

Emmanuel Mangeni is Director/ Consultant of Ultimate Gas Professionals Uganda; and has had prior extensive experience with global players TOTAL and CHEVRON, alongside brief stints in Telecommunications and research with MTN and NIELSEN in Uganda. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and holds an MBA alongside several industry certificates specializing in LPG and Petroleum Products marketing. He sits on the Uganda National Bureau of Standards Committee on LPG, and is fresh from recently concluding an LPG baseline study for the Ministry of Energy in Uganda which saw him analysing a cross-section of LPG subsectors in the sub-Saharan Africa Region. He has been actively involved as a Speaker, Panelist and Delegate at several global LPG conferences across Africa; and has provided consultation on the Uganda and East African LPG markets to organizations across the world.

Mr. Reidar A Sundvor

Reidar A Sundvor is the Managing Partner with ViaMar AS, the Oslo based independent shipping market analyst company. He holds a Master of Science degree in Finance and International Marketing from the University of Lund, Sweden (1979). He is responsible for ViaMar’s LPG Shipping Market Outlook. He was a co-founder of ViaMar AS in 1996, after serving 10 years in leading positions in ship owning companies controlled by I. M. Skaugen and later Kvaerner of Norway within the LPG and tanker markets. Before that, Reidar worked 8 years as a ship broker for R. S. Platou in Oslo and New York.

The Present Profile enables him to have a bird’s eye view of the present Supply Demand Scenario and well as the emerging trend in LPG market. Based on the background, the observations on Future Projections and consumption patterns shall be an important content for understanding the LPG scenario in India.

 

Being associated with one of the largest Oil Public Sector Enterprises in India and a Fortune 500 company for a long time, the speaker had ample opportunity to contribute in the field, implement his ideas and take his initiatives to a logical conclusion. He has been associated with one of the longest pipelines of LPG i.e. 2700 km long. With a clear cut mandate from the Govt. of India, the huge infrastructure development plans are being formalized across the Industry with him pioneering all such activities. So, being at the helm of affairs he has enough inputs to share with all of us.
