Dr . Jules Roelofs

Jules Roelofs (born 1974) graduated from Wageningen University (The Netherlands) with a Masters degree in chemistry in 1997. In 2001, he finished his Ph.D at Utrecht University, on the topic development of heterogeneous clay-based catalysts. After this, he worked in the field of nanocomposites at Engelhard Corporation (now BASF). He joined the Research and Technology department of Holland Colours NV in 2004. As R&D Manager Packaging (2006-2012), he focused on PET packaging related projects. He currently holds the position of Director R&T. Jules is (co-) author of several scientific papers on various subjects and patent applications

Ing. Christoph Woess

Christoph Wöss was born in 1980 in Linz.He visited the Secondary College for Electronic & Communications- Engineering in Leonding near Linz, Austria and finished in 1999. At the beginning of his career he worked exclusively in the automotive industry as an automation engineer. In the year 2001 he enters EREMA in the software/electrical department and was responsible for the visualization and automatisation of large plants at EREMA. All along more and more PET recycling sparks his interests and so he assumed the control of the PET recycling plants in the EREMA group, the so called VACUREMA's in the year 2007. Since then he is responsible for product development, technical Sales and customer care in this division. Meanwhile, with more than 10 years of experience in the plastic industry he also is member of PETCORE (PET Container Recycling Europe) and represents the Recycler's interests in the Board of PETCORE.
