Mr. Philip Parubets

Philip Parubets has been Business Advisor of Husky’s PET Systems and Tooling team since 2016. He joined Husky in 2006 as part of the Engineering team in Bolton, Canada and has since held a variety of technical and management roles within the PET System and Tooling organization in Canada, Singapore, China, and Thailand. As part of the PET Systems and Tooling team, he supports Husky customers in South East Asia, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand with PET asset management and application development. Philip holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada in Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. Rakesh Gaur

Mr. Gaur is an Engineer & a Management Graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. He has a total experience of 35 years out of which 26 years have been in Polyester industry. In Reliance, Mr Gaur has worked in business units of PTA, MEG, Polyester Filament Yarn, Polyester Staple Fibre & bottle grade chips. The Polyester sector in Reliance has an annual revenue of $ 4 billion, with 3 million tonnes capacity of PFY, PSF & PET chips. Today, Reliance is the world's largest Polyester Fibre & Yarn producer. Mr Gaur has widely travelled across globe & participated in various seminars / conferences to deliver subject matter presentations.

Ms. Bongkotthip Srithavatchai

Ms Bongkotthip Srithavatchai, a Consultant based in Nexant’s Bangkok office, located in Thailand, has more than ten years of experience in petrochemical industry.  Having involved in various studies covering market analysis and pricing evaluation, she has broad experience in olefins and derivatives markets, which also include EO and MEG.  She is involved in Asian petrochemical profitability analysis.  Prior to Nexant, she worked with Siam Cement Group (SCG) as a market analyst for polyolefins market and researcher in olefins complex.  

Bongkotthip holds an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

Mr. Hideyuki Suzuki

Hideyuki Suzuki graduated from a Master's course of department of Organic and Polymeric Materials of the University of Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. 
From April 2008 until August 2013, he had worked at Japanese chemcal company and did the work to treat functional polymer for flexible and rigid food packaging. After that, he joined in Suntory group from September 2013 and is working on development of bio-based PET bottle, and light-weighting technology for PET bottle.

Mr. Kim Yong Jung

YJ Kim heads the PTA and polyester chain from Asia regional office in Malaysia with specific responsibility for supporting our Asian client base. 
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with over 30 years experience in petrochemicals in both commercial and financial roles, Mr. Kim formerly worked with Samsung where he was Finance and Sales manager responsible PTA plant projects, procurement for the feedstock, and sales of over 1 million tonnes of PTA globally.
His specialisation in PTA and polyester stems from broad commercial and financial experience at various positions and many in-depth analysis reports have been produced by YJ including Asian PTA Cost Model, China Textile Chain Analysis, Polyester Production Cost Comparison, India’s Future Influence in Global Textiles.

Mr. Khadem Mahmud Yusuf

Khadem M Yusuf is currently the Managing Director and CEO of Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Ltd (BPCL). He has over 20 years of experience working in Silicon valley, USA and in Bangladesh. BPCL is the brainchild of Mr. Yusuf, which established itself as the first post-consumer PET bottle recycling plant in Bangladesh.  BPCL is a company with an environmental commitment to lessen greenhouse gas emissions and a social commitment to eradicate child labor and bring fairness in the supply chain of recycled bottles. Prior to forming Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL), he has worked for 5 years as the Country Manager Global Services for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, at Nokia Siemens Networks. His key responsibilities were to manage Global Services and Consultation and Engineering division of the company. He was also the Founder Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Alap Communication, a Nationwide Broadband Wireless Data Network service provider in Bangladesh and National Data Consultant for Bangladesh Bank. Alap Communication was acquired by a local conglomerate in 2007.


Before moving back to Bangladesh in 2005  he worked at Cowave Networks in Fremont, California, USA, as a Designer for next generation cost effective NLOS (Non Line of Sight) Broadband Wireless Access Systems. He also worked as a Project Manager at Zettacom Inc, San Jose, California, iReady Corp, Sunnyvale, California and as Senior Microprocessor Design Engineer in National Semiconductor Corporation, Santa Clara, California, USA and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Austin. Texas, USA.

Khadem M Yusuf holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, USA and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA.

After a business education, Andreas Stoiber was studying Plastics Engineering in Vienna and the UK and joined the Industry right away. His experience comprises 17 years in the plastics extrusion industry as Project Manager and subsequently as Area Sales Manager. The past 10 years he was working with leading recycling technologies, predominantly in PET -decontamination, -SSP and -extrusion. Within viscotec he is the responsible Area Sales Manager for the Asian region.

Mr. John Lin is the representative of Hon Chuan Vietnam, in charge of the company daily operation, Sales, Customer Service and HR.

Hon Chuan Group has been in the beverage packaging industry for more than 47 years and owns 41 factories in 9 countries.

Dr. Fanny Liao

Dr. Liao obtained her doctoral degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook, NY, USA.  She is currently with the Far Eastern Group (http://www.feg.com.tw/), a conglomerate covering 10 business sectors such as chemicals, textile, retailing, cement etc. in Taiwan, China and Southeast Asia including Vietnam. 
Dr. Liao has experiences in petrochemical projects, r-PET operation, medical device business, brewery, biotechnology venture capital investments and bioplastics researches.  She is President of Oriental Resources Development Ltd.(http://www.ord.feg.com.tw/) and also the Senior Vice President of R&D in Far Eastern New Century Corp.(http://www.fenc.com/) has commercialized 30% bio-based PET/polyester.  Dr. Liao also demonstrated the world first 100% bio-PET bottle, and 100% bio-polyester shirt which won the top 5 finalists of European Bioplastic award.

Dr. Pattra Maneesin

Dr.Pattra Maneesin, the director of packaging development laboratory at the Thai Packaging Centre, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), Bangkok, Thailand.  She received her Ph.D. in Packaging from Michigan State University in 2001. Not only having more than 30 years experiences doing researches on packaging, she has also provided special lectures to universities, conferences, seminars and trainings. Her research area includes modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), active packaging and shelf life extension of food products, etc.

Mr. Takeshi Irie studied Physical Chemistry in Tokyo University of Science, and join BASF Japan in 1998. He worked in sales/marketing of intermediates for engineering plastics & various industry applications in Japan, Europe & Asia. In 2013 after the experience in Intermediates division, he expanded business field to downstream including packaging industry being responsible for marketing of biodegradable polymers & functional materials at several divisions in BASF Japan. Since 2017, Mr. Takeshi Irie has been responsible for the representative of Synvina C.V. in Japan as well as Asia to develop PEF applications.
