Mr. Mishack Matla

Mr M Matla graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Institute of Marketing Management in 2002. He then proceeded to graduate with an MBA Degree at Milpark Business School in 2014. He has worked for Aberdare Cables as Sales, Marketing & Distribution Director since January 2015, and has both experience and passion for the power cable industry. He has been involved in supplying cables for large projects including mining, municipalities, transport, power generation transmission & distribution in South Africa and various other African countries.

Mr. David Drew

David is a qualified Chemical Engineer with 20 years’ experience in the FMCG industry. In 2007, he joined Boxmore Plastics (now ALPLA) in a business development role and was appointed to the board in 2009 as Commercial Director. In 2012 David took up the role of Group Commercial Director and in 2016 was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer. David is currently responsible for group supply chain and commercial function, as well as group marketing and strategy.

Dr. Sudhakar Muniyasamy

Dr Muniyasamy holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from University of Pisa-Italy and postdoctoral research experiences from University of Guelph-Canada. He has more than 12 years research experience in the field of bioplastics, biodegradable polymers and biocomposite materials for green manufacturing.

 

He has published 16 peer-reviewed journal articles, contributed 4 book chapters and 1 book. He has attended and presented more than 50 research papers in various international conferences/meetings. He has been actively involved in scientific reviews of various international journals which relates to degradable and bio/environmental polymers. His R&D excellence has helped in developing various industrial bio-products and biomaterials manufacturing.
