Effective 1st January I have been named EMEA Marketing Manager for Food and Specialty Packaging.


A chemist by profession, I graduated in Chemistry at Imperial College of Science and Technology in London in 1980, after which I joined DuPont where I have been working for the last  37 years.

I have played different roles in the technical, sales, marketing departments. My functional experience has been mainly in the packaging arena, where I am responsible for New Business Development. I have lead development projects with different converters and brand-owners , specifically in the Fresh Food, Cereals, bakery and beverage markets. I am also responsible for the easy-open packaging business of DuPont in the EMEA region, identifying new market trends and developing new resins to meet market demand.

Mr. Ayhan Kurt Kuruc

Since 2010, Mr. Kurt KURUÇ is the General Manager of Farmamak, now kp Turkey since 2016, the leading rigid foil producer in Turkey. Before, he has worked in the flexible packaging industry for 20 years.

He was the president of the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) for 5 years and served many other non-profit industrial organisations in Turkey over the years.

He studied Materials Science and holds an MBA. He is married with two children.

Oyetunji is the senior packaging procurement manager for PZ Cussons Africa.
Prior to this, he worked with Unilever Nigeria Plc and British American Tobacco, Nigeria occupying various positions.
Oyetunji has a bachelor’s degree in Geography and a master’s degree in Geographic information systems.

Mr. Stefano Baldassar has 23 years experience in the PET Capital Equipment Industry. He joined SIPA in 1995 and held positions as Project Manager, North America Sales Manager, and Sales & Marketing Tooling Director. 

For the past seven years, Stefano has been accountable for SIPA’s PET Systems & Tooling Global Sales. Mr. Baldassar holds an MBA from the University of Kansas and currently drives SIPA’s strong focus on PET circular economy.

Mr. Javier Goyeneche

Born in Madrid, Javier studied in Spain, London and Paris, while also taking part in top international equestrian competitions.  He received his degree in Business Administration from the European Business School and continued with post-graduate work in International Marketing Strategies at Northwestern University in Chicago.

In 1995, he founded Fun & Basics, specializing in contemporary fashion handbags and accessories.  Within 10 years, Javier grew the business to 350 points of sale and 70 branded retail stores.  His accomplishments were recognized by the industry when he was awarded Best Young Entrepreneur of Madrid in 2005. 

Javier gradually grew frustrated with the amount of waste he saw being produced by the fashion industry.  He embarked on a mission to create an entirely new concept that would combine his design sensibility and understanding of the fashion consumer with the latest in recycled materials.   In 2012 he launched ECOALF, named after his son Alfredo.

Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily and now produces a full lifestyle collection of outerwear, swimwear, casual apparel, shoes and accessories.  Javier has strategically expanded ECOALF’s distribution to include many of the world’s most prestigious department stores and specialty retailers.     In 2013, he oversaw the opening of an integrated ECOALF concept store, showroom and office in Madrid. Most recently Ecoalf has made collaborations with companies like Apple, Swatch , Coolhunting , Coca- Cola and Will-i-am , Barneys NY ,..etc

Nizar Ben Ammar is a Business Administration and International Trade ¬ Management Specialist with a Master degree in Companies Internationalization. He has 15 years of experience in the PET and Beverages Industries having covered areas including Europe, Latin America and MENA Region (including IRAN). Today he is with Frigel as Area Sales Manager for South West Europa, Western and North Africa, and the Middle East, supporting the introduction of their new process cooling system for the PET & Beverages Industries.
