Besides West Sangatta, other contractors are WK CBM Sekayu (Medco Energy International), Tanjung Enim (Arrow PTE), Barito Banjar (Indobarambai) and Sanga-Sanga (VICO). Joint operator Ephindo Energy signed a memorandum of understanding with GE, who helped finance and develop the pilot plant using GE’s Jenbacher J320 gas engine technology. This technology has already been successfully used in CBM-to-power markets around the world.
