Palm Oil Africa | 5-6 September 2012 - Accra, Ghana

Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation explored at 1st Palm Oil Africa Summit

Sustainability is a major priority in the palm oil industry, and many conglomerates have taken the 'green' initiative, with a commitment to achieve RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification. This involves maintaining best practices at every step of the process, right from soil fertility to occupational training, as well as responsible environment management and reduction of carbon footprint among many other objectives.

So we're thrilled to announce that on 05-06 September in Accra, distinguished experts will convene at Palm Oil Africa, and share their invaluable expertise on the development of large scale plantations in Africa, analyze the environmental impact of palm oil projects in the region, and explore sustainable ways to boost yield.
