3rd Biomass Pellets Trade Asia | 12-13September 2012, Seoul

Since many countries are exploring the possibility of utilizing biomass pellets as a means to generate energy through minimized carbon emissions, international exporters are trying to gain a foothold in nations like South Korea, where demand is growing, owing to the Government's move towards sustainable growth.

While demand for biomass pellets in EU has weakened, considerable growth is likely in North Asian nations. As the domestic supply of wood pellets in South Korea cannot cater to the 5 million ton demand expected by 2020, it will depend on imports. Hence this year, the 3rd Biomass Pellets Trade Asia conference on 12-13September in Seoul is specially designed to provide you with vital knowledge on the biomass pellets demand and trade prospects in North Asia, including South Korea, Japan and China. Industry experts will also explore the means to secure wood pellets and Agro Biomass supply from Southeast Asia.

Adding to the anticipation, top Korean Gencos have confirmed their participation and will share their perspectives on bio-power generation at the conference. Take a look at what's lined-up for this exciting event:
