2nd Commercial Farm Asia summit is a key event in the Asian agricultural and farming industry's calendar!

On 11-12 October 2012 in Yangon, top officials and renowned experts will share their views on the industry's outlook, while giving the international delegates an opportunity to realize the prospects and opportunities that the agricultural sector in Asia offers.

The Laos agriculture and forestry sector is trying to attract more domestic and foreign investors for rice, commercial crop and livestock promotion projects to help local farmers shift from subsistence-based to commercial production. Investors are increasingly looking into Laos to explore opportunities in sugar, cassava rubber, forestry & etc. Indonesia has also open up the agriculture sector to foreign investment, and has implemented reforms to improve the ease of doing business in the country.
