CMT is proud to announce the launch of 2nd Palm Oil Africa, on 17-19th October 2013, in Libreville Gabon held under the patronage of His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabon.
The President will officiate this October event, while His Excellency Julien Nkoghe Bekale, Minister of Agriculture, Gabon will deliver a Keynote Ministerial Address sharing his views on 'Revitalising Gabon's
Agro-Industry and Cash Crops Development with Emphasis on Palm Oil'. |
With more than 20 million hectares of arable land that is not cultivated, palm oil industry has a huge potential in Gabon. Can Gabon be the next palm oil investment hub? What agriculture policies and framework are in place to encourage this? Is the program to promote new investment with the objective of diversifying the economy and allowing palm oil to account for a larger proportion of GDP viable?
