Novozymes - one of the world's largest enzymes producer/ supplier, has developed a strong cassava processing competence, embracing the entire value chain from cassava growing to its processing. Thanks to Novozymes' enzymes, CleanStar Mozambique (a joint venture between CleanStar Venture and Novozymes) launched world's first sustainable cooking fuel facility using cassava feedstock in 2012 in Mozambique. Moreover, the commercial use of cassava in flour factories producing bread is no longer uncommon in Africa.
