“Thailand’s First Batch of Medical Marijuana is Ready for Roll-Out” ~ Vice, 11/7/2019
With 15,000 doses of medical-cannabis oil ready for distribution throughout the country by end July, Thailand is fast becoming a key medical cannabis market with its 400 medical doctors, pharmacists, and dentists who are permitted to prescribe the oil along with 2,900 traditional medical practitioners who are also authorized to do so. The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine is also looking at distributing two traditional medicines and three ready-to-mix recipes that contain cannabis to
hospitals and traditional medicine practitioners.
