CMT's inaugural Biofuels & Feedstocks Philippines
summit is taking place in Manila from 23-24 May. This forum will serve
as a bridge between government and enterprises to establish
Philippine's feedstock supply and investments in infrastructure,

PNOC Alternative Fuels Corp
is close to signing a biofuels deal with a United States-United
Kingdom consortium that may entail as much as
$1 billion in investments.
China to invest one million
hectares of land for hybrid corn, rice and sorghum which will
be used by China for ethanol production.
PNOC Alternative Fuels signed
a memorandum of understanding with Koreas Samsung Corp for
a P8.2billion jatropha plantation and refinery.
