Dear Executive,
“China will approve more fuel ethanol plants using feedstocks
other than grains, after suspending approval of such projects for more than
a year on concerns over food supply and inflation. The National Development
and Reform Commission has endorsed proposed plans by five provinces to
build plants using sweet potatoes, sweet sorghum or cassava, it said on its
Web site (www.ndrc.gov.cn).” ~ LATEST NEWS- Reuters 7 Apr 2008
It is time to REGISTER
for the NextGen Bio-Ethanol,
on 22-23 April at in Bangkok
move ethanol investments forward with the new feedstocks approved for
ethanol production in China.
With less than 14 days left, make your decision to attend now!
To refresh your
memory, NextGen
Bio-Ethanol
is a timely multi-speaker seminar
on Ethanol production and processing from 2nd Generation Ethanol
feedstocks including Sweet Sorghum, Cassava &
Cellulose.
About our Seminar
Leader
Cesar B. Granda, Ph.D.
Dr. Granda has been involved with biomass conversion to chemicals and fuels
since 1997 conducting research in almost all unit operations of the
process. He has experience in the sugar industry as well. Many
technical publications and patents in these areas have resulted.
In his research, he has been involved in the preservation of sugarcane
juice for processing into sugar and ethanol, pretreatment of sorghum &
sugarcane fiber to increase biological digestibility, enzymatic degradation
of sugarcane fibers into simple sugars for ethanol production, mixed-acid
fermentation of lignocellulosic residues, conversion of organic acids and
salts into alcohols (isopropanol and ethanol).
