Bioamber to talk about world’s first Bio Succinic Acid Plant at
4th Bioplastic Markets conference

According to Mr. Patrick Piot, Bioamber’s General Manager, the plant has been producing renewable succinic acid since December 2009, using glucose derived from wheat as feedstock. He commented that the plant, situated in Pomacle, France has an initial annual capacity of 2000 metric tons, and the bio-based succinic acid produced is reportedly of a higher purity than the petroleum derived equivalent.
