Biomass Fuel Vietnam Co is collaborating with Hekotek for equipment supply for its upcoming wood pellets plant in Nghe An province, Vietnam. The plant will have a production capacity of 160,000 tons of wood pellets.
The wood pellet plant will be using pulp logs, chips and sawdust of eucalyptus, acacia and pine as raw materials. Hekotek’s equipment will help the plant to dry sawdust using drum dryers with the wooden pellets to be pressed with 6 CPM pellet presses. The plant will have a storage capacity of 20,000 tons of ready wooden pellets.
Biomass Fuel Vietnam aims to export the wood pellets to the high demand biomass power market in Japan.
Construction has already begun at the plant, with equipment expected to be provided by spring of 2019 - with the plant anticipated to be ready by end of 2019.
