Renat is a serial entrepreneur and leading expert in the field of climate and nature finance, where he is engaged since 1999. He is CEO of HUSK. Before that, he founded and led Terra Impact Ventures, South Pole and the myclimate foundation from startups to global climate action players. He lived a combined 5 years in Indonesia

Renat has been elected “Social Entrepreneur of Switzerland” by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation, and he serves as a member of the Expert Network of the WEF, and holds numerous chairman and board roles. He is author of the climate-action drama “The Carbon Paradox”.

He holds a Master degree in Environmental Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS).
