Tonino ,CEO of POINT PLASTIC Srl has more than 35 year experience in the PET industry
Author of 20 internation patent all around PET
He developed  dominant technologies in the field of PET -for eg  expanded PET used as main core material  for the modern wind blade  for the generation of green energy. 90% of world wide wind blade contains expanded PET generated by his development.

Ingo graduated from RWTH-Aachen University and Ecole Centrale Paris with degrees in engineering. After spending 4 years in technical development and research in the field of hemodialysis membranes and gas barrier films at Fresenius Medical Care and three years in venture capital at the German High-Tech Gründerfonds, he joined Siegwerk three years ago. He is specialized in the recycling of printed plastic packaging and filed a patent for a deinking detergent.

Agricultural Engineer and MBA all my professional live is linked to sales to the value chain of fruits and vegetables, with experiences in breeding, packaging and post-harvest industries.

In 2009 I joined Groupe Guillin where actually I’m in charge of the Exports of the Fresh Produce Division which includes the Dynaplast, Nespak and Veripack factories.

Vivianne holds a degree in Food Science and Technology and worked at food producing companies in the past. Starting her career within the product/ process development department at Unilever frozen food production and then moved to Heuschen & Schrouff oriental foods trading, working as New Products Coordinator. After joining SABIC in 2011 she has held various positions. From 2016 onwards, she is part of the market development and technical marketing team with a strong focus on flexible food packaging.

Florian Riedl is Director Business Development at the company APK AG. APK owns a special solvent-based recycling technology (Newcycling®) that enables to generate pure, sorted recyclates from mixed plastic waste. Florian Riedl‘s focus at APK is the acquisition and development of strategic partners for the further expansion and growth of APK.
Florian Riedl has over 10 years experience in the plastics industry. At APK he is working since 2015.

She has over 12 years’ experience in product development and technical support aiming to develop and position innovative products in the market of flexible plastic Packaging. She Focuses on developing circular flexible packaging solutions.
Her functional experience includes working at the interface between following departments: research, marketing, regulatory affairs, industrial development, quality and analytical development.
 

Peter Niedersüss is Application Marketing Manager at Borealis and has over 30 years of experience in flexible packaging. His functional experience includes product and application development, technical service, product management and marketing for polypropylene as well as polyethylene materials.

Marcel van Eijk has been the R&D Manager at NTCP since 2021. His work focuses on research programmes centered around the characterisation, sorting, and washing of circular plastics. In addition to his role at NTCP, he also spends one day a week as an associate professor in circular plastics at Maastricht University.

Marcel has extensive experience in both academic and industrial research, particularly in the fields of chemistry and physics. He serves as the technical lead for the Perfect Sorting Consortium, which is currently developing an AI-based sorting demonstrator for application-driven recycling of packaging plastics.

Roemer Zijp has 10 years of experience in sustainable packaging and is specialized in recyclability, plastic reduction, and alternatives to virgin plastics.

At Multitubes his team has introduced groundbreaking solutions like tubes made from recycled fishnets and becoming worlds first 0% waste tube manufacturer.

Today, Mr. Zijp will be speaking to us about their mono-material packaging, suitable for the cosmetic and food industry.

Guillaume is part of the Recycling team of CITEO, French EPR organization for household waste. He is in charge of projects regarding the improvement and the development of recycling for polyolefin-based as for aluminium-based packaging.

Nithya is a Scientist in the Circular Packaging research group at TNO – the Dutch innovation center for applied science research. She obtained her PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University, focusing on the structural behaviour of lightweight polymer composites. She moved to the Netherlands to pursue a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at TU Delft in 2020. Her expertise is on understanding chemical-mechanical coupling and structure-property relationships in polymers. She joined TNO in 2022 and works on modelling the sealing of polymers made of monomaterials and recyclates

Almudena holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Salamanca, a master’s degree in management of energy company from Institute for Energy Studies of Repsol.
Since 2012, she has been employed in the polyolefins technical support and development department of Repsol Chemical business.
She was responsible for TS&D of clients and products involved in rigid packaging and fibers. Currently she is working in the development of new products and solutions for flexible packaging aligned with Repsol’s sustainability commitments.

Matinique Vyvey holds a Master in Laws, with a focus on international business. Afterwards, she obtained her Master in International Management and Strategy at Vlerick Business School. She started her career, working in a Sales and Marketing Graduate Programme at Hilti. Determined to further develop her knowledge about international business, she joined AluSense in the beginning of 2022 as Export Manager. She is responsible within AluSense for the further growth and new business development in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Currently, AluSense capsules are being sold in more than 80 countries.

With more than 20 years working in the polymer’s industry, Marta has a wide experience across all areas of converting, compounding and formulation of different materials, including those technical ones such the design, development, analysis, and final application. Marta is a sales manager based in Spain and also leads the global Packaging Expert Team. Her technical vision and experience with polymers’ applications in different fields have prepared her to support IMCD customers in developing innovative solutions that differentiate their products on the market.
