Ernesto is Circulate Capital’s Managing Partner for Latin America and the Caribbean coordinating and managing the CC Ocean Fund LAC investments and business activities in the region.
Ernesto has nearly 25 years of experience in originating, analyzing, structuring, implementing, and managing climate change, environmental, sustainability and impact capital investments related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water and waste sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Previously he served managing partner, chief investment officer and investment committee member in four LatAm regional private equity funds and an investment platform, all specializing in sustainability investments.
He has been board member of the World Resources Institute – Mexico. As well, he is board member of the Latin American and Caribbean Council on Energy Transition. He has been advisor to the Private Financing Advisory Network – PFAN, assisting climate change and sustainability business developers in accessing funding for their projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
