Equatorial CDR is the carbon removal business of Golden Agri-Resources, one of the world's largest palm oil producers. Our biochar facilities sit inside GAR's mills in Indonesia, drawing on residues generated by the daily harvest cycle — feedstock secured at source, for the life of the asset, from deforestation-free supply chains traceable to the plantation block. We handle the full chain in-house, from mill residue to biochar returned to palm soils in the same landscape. Every tonne is traced from block to field, independently certified and digitally monitored. First operations begin in West Kalimantan in 2026, with further sites across Sumatra and Kalimantan in the pipeline.

Arthur D. Little has been pushing the boundaries of innovation since 1886, linking people, technology and strategy to help our clients overcome today’s most pressing challenges while seizing tomorrow’s most promising opportunities.
With a global presence and deep industry expertise, we work alongside leading companies and public-sector organizations to accelerate performance, drive innovation and navigate the transition to a low-carbon economy. Our extensive work in decarbonization spans energy transition, net-zero strategies, sustainable mobility, industrial transformation, low-carbon technologies and new energy solutions, helping clients turn climate ambitions into practical, value-creating action. It’s what we believe makes The Difference.
Cascade Climate helps overlooked, high potential climate solutions move from early concept to durable scale. We diagnose what each solution needs to take hold, assembling the pieces - across science, engineering, data, finance, industry, and policy - and moving the solution toward self-reinforcing scale. Cutting CO2 emissions, no matter how fast, is no longer enough on its own to secure a liveable planet; therefore, our attention focuses on mitigating super pollutants for reducing near-term warming risks, pursuing durable carbon removal for long-term climate repair, and stabilizing communities and ecosystems most at risk.
