Mr Neo Zhipeng is the Deputy Director (Strategy and Planning) at the Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Institute (SNRSI), where he leads strategic initiatives and research planning to strengthen SNRSI’s capabilities in nuclear science, safety, and engineering. Zhipeng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining SNRSI, he spent more than 10 years in the former Nuclear Science and Technology Department, now known as the Nuclear Safety Division, of the National Environment Agency, where he handled a wide spectrum of issues related to nuclear safety, security, safeguards, emergency preparedness and capability building.
