Silvester & Express Shipping & Logistics EA Ltd; group, specializes in cement logistics across East Africa. From ships chartering, ships agency, discharging/loading and last mile delivery. The company accounts for about 80% market share of all cement raw materialled logistics by sea. Their offices are spread in East Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi.

 

Silvester M.Kututa is the Founder and Chairman of Express Shipping & Logistics EA Ltd, Group. He holds several function and is currently the Chairman of Kenya Ships Agents Association, Chairman of Marine Transport and Port Logistics Industry Advisory Board for East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP), Kenya Coast National Polytechnic. EASTRIP is a World Bank and Kenya Government Project to upskill the maritime industry. He is also a Consultant with GuidePoint (consults for quite a number of African, American, British and European investment funds on emerging opportunities in Eastern Africa as well as Chairman of Kenya Alumni: World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden

 

Silvester holds a MSc in Shipping Management from World Maritime University, Sweden and a BA in Economics & Business Studies from Kenyatta University, Nairobi. He is the first African to win the Cory Brothers Shipping Award from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (UK). He is also a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London.
