PROFILE

Andrea Schoen is the Head of Strategic Initiatives at Heirloom, a US-founded Direct Air Capture (DAC) company working to remove billions of tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. She has 15 years of experience in climate innovation and technology commercialization, including at LanzaTech where she supported commercial deployment of first-of-a-kind carbon capture and utilization technology for the production of fuels, chemicals, and materials. Andrea is based in San Francisco and holds degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin Madison.
