Richard Waning has a wealth of experience in the research and development field, particularly in the film industry. Richard started their career at UCB Films as a Development Scientist from 1999 to 2003. Richard then moved on to Innovia Films, where they held various roles such as Project Leader, Senior Project Leader, Co-Extrusion Expert, Senior R&D Expert, Market Response Technical Manager, and Regulatory Affairs Manager. In their most recent role at Innovia Films, Richard served as the Head of Research and Development, leading the company's innovation strategy and developing sustainable solutions for the global market. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, new product development, and regulatory compliance.

From 1995 to 1999, Richard Waning attended The University of Sheffield where they pursued a degree in Chemistry. Richard completed their studies and obtained an MChem degree in Chemistry during this time.

Engineer with 15 years of experience in industry (in France and Germany), professional organizations, and for the last 8 years within a PRO for domestic packaging in France. He has an impressive track record of successfully litigating cases before the European Courts and the European Chemical Agency  Board of Appeal

Raffi is the co-founder and director of Prevented Ocean Plastic, a company that produces recycled plastic – using waste collected from coastal areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution – which is then supplied as product packaging for brands and supermarkets. He is also the director of Bantam Materials Ltd, a company dedicated to collecting and recycling bottles from oceans and coastal areas.

Oskar Karlsson is an experienced leader in strategic sourcing and sustainable development, with solid expertise in global supply chains. He currently leads Trioworld’s new Recycling division.

With a background in raw material-intensive industries, including Södra Skogsägarna and Norsk Hydro, he is now set to drive Trioworld’s mission forward and take plastic recycling to the next level.

CEO at BlueAlp, started his career in strategy consulting at Bain & Company followed by a stint at Shell in various roles. Valentijn joined BlueAlp four years ago with a belief in the need to make plastics truly circular. His move to BlueAlp was strongly rooted in the technology advantage showcased by the scale up and the team of 100 highly motivated and experienced individuals. Valentijn also serves as President of Chemical Recycling Europe, collaborating with industry players to advance regulatory clarity and empower the sector to expand recycling capacity. Christine Halim began her journey by collecting plastic waste from a small garage in Surabaya. She later expanded her expertise by venturing into the export of PET flakes to China and the import of polyester staple fibres in Indonesia.

Over time, through her experience in trading both PET flakes and finished products, she expanded her investments and established a PET recycling factory, which also produces non-woven fiber.

Today, she is the founder of a food-grade, bottle-to-bottle recycling company, as well as a modern waste management operation and a circular economy consultancy. Over the past 20 years, her businesses have flourished and expanded across various regions of Indonesia. Her journey stands as a remarkable example of entrepreneurship and sustainability.
