As of 2024, the circular plastics packaging markets in South and Central America continue to experience notable shifts driven by environmental concerns, regulatory changes, and evolving consumer preferences. This has led to a surge in innovation within the industry, with companies investing in research and development to create recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable packaging alternatives. In Brazil, Nestlé has partnered with the Recicleiros Cidades project.
