
Maythiwan Kiatgrajai is a Thailand-based energy policy specialist with more than a decade of experience working on energy planning, renewable energy policy, and power sector transition issues in Thailand and Southeast Asia. She currently serves as Senior Energy Advisor for the Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy (CASE) program at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), where she supports policy dialogue and technical research related to Thailand’s energy transition.
Prior to joining GIZ, Maythiwan worked with Thailand’s Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) and several consultancy firms implementing USAID regional energy projects. Her experience includes supporting utilities and government agencies across Southeast Asia on topics such as electric vehicle integration, battery energy storage systems, renewable energy planning, grid modernization, and regional power cooperation.
Her work focuses on bridging technical analysis and policy implementation to support practical and inclusive energy transition pathways in the region.
