Ir. Ts. Dr. Gideon Tan began his professional journey with an MEng from Imperial College London, entering the industry as a Technical Executive in the Downstream Division of FGV. In this role, he managed significant responsibilities at oil and fats refineries and manufacturing plants, where he developed a profound understanding of technical operations.

As he advanced in his career, he took on a strategic role in the CEO office of FGV Holdings Berhad, coordinating group-level technical initiatives. His contributions were vital in implementing a range of improvement projects across the supply chain, encompassing research and development, estate management, and production processes.

In 2020, he was appointed Head of the Transformation Management Office at FGVHB. In this capacity, he leads initiatives to enhance business and operational efficiencies, drives strategic enhancements, and oversees the development of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. His work is pivotal in advancing FGV's commitment to the Net Zero Agenda, focusing on integrating solar, biomass, and other green technologies in alignment with the national energy transition roadmap.

Mr Dikki Akhmar is the chairman of Association of Palm Kernel Shell Entrepreneur of Indonesia for period 2016-2021.  He is also owner and director of 2 companies which supply Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) from Bengkulu, Padang and Riau, and export to Japan & Europe. 

 Marc McConnaughey is a serial entrepreneur.  BioBond is his 5th startup and second sustainability startup.  He also has significant international experience with assignments in Europe and Asia including Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, and China.  His specialty and focus is working with University Professors and Entrepreneurs to help them realize commercialization of their intellectual property. Marc is a graduate from North Carolina State University with a BS in Textile/Color Chemistry.

  Earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Mechanization, Bogor Agricultural Institute (graduated in 1991), participated in the Professional Development on Energy – in Chicago - USA in 1994 and 1996, earned a Master of Engineering degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (graduated in 2002) .
Prior to serving as Director of Bioenergy - Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DJEBTKE), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM) on January 10 2022, Edi Wibowo served as Director of Fund Distribution at the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) starting February 2017 and also concurrently as Plt. Director of Partnerships since October 2020. Previously, he was a researcher at the Research and Development Center for Oil and Gas Technology "Lemigas" from 1992 to 2009. As Head of the Energy Utilization Policy Facilitation Sub-Division at the Secretary General of the National Energy Council from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011 he has been Head of Sub Directorate of Engineering and Directorate of Bioenergy, DJEBTKE, KESDM, Head of Sub Directorate of Business and Supervision of Bioenergy, DJEBTKE, KESDM since June 2015 and Head of Sub Directorate of Bioenergy Program, DJEBTKE, KESDM, since July 2016.

 Datin Stella Ambrose, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd, specializes in oil palm milling operations, and projects evaluation, management and monitoring. With 30 years of working experience, her academic qualifications include a B.Eng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from UMIST UK (1994) and an MBA from IUMW (2023). Her research interests and experience lie in leadership, organizational behavior, and strategic management.

 Dr.Nahrowi is a researcher and academic specializing in feed technology.
He holds a Ph.D. in Microbial Biochemistry from Ehime University,Japan. With more than 20 years of experience, he has led various projects to revitalize local feed ingredients,especially by-products from the palm oil processing industry. Currently he serves as Professor and Head of the Center for Tropical Animal Studies at IPB University.

Jeroen De Wachter is the Head of Business Development of Entobel, Asia's largest black soldier fly producer.

He has a background in both Engineering and International Business with dual master's degrees from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. His career spans 13 years of sustainable project management and development, mainly in the renewable energy sector.

In his role, Jeroen is responsible for driving the growth that will help Entobel become the global industry leader. He is spearheading his company’s expansion into Indonesia and as such is very familiar with the palm industry’s huge potential for upcycling.

 Roh Gyeong Min is an accomplished professional with a background in forestry and palm oil plantation. He graduated from Seoul National University, majoring in Forestry. Since 2012, he has been actively involved in the field, sharing his passion for sustainable practices and environmental conservation. His expertise promises to enrich our discussions.
